Crew did a very thorough job explaining what the process was and completed the job quickly. Highest quality work which it was obvious they took great pride in. Excellent follow up from staff regarding payment, warranty, inspections etc. I highly recommend this company. They will be my contractor going forward.

If you’re replacing your roof in the Tampa Bay Area, Rescue Roofing, based in Land O Lakes, is the roofing company for you. According to the Better Business Bureau, there are 4,345 roofing contractors near Tampa. These roofers install roofs using materials from numerous different manufacturers. Roofing manufacturers’ materials vary in quality, but for a total protection roofing system, the industry leader is Owens Corning (OC). Within 50 miles of Land O Lakes (Gulf of Mexico to the West, to Lakeland to the East, and Inverness to the North to Ruskin to the South), there are 183 OC contractors. I began my research for a new roof with OC contractors within 50 miles, but soon learned that roofing contractors tend to do business within a 20-25 mile radius. I also learned that to secure the longest, most comprehensive warranty in the industry, backed by the OC manufacturer, it was important to hire an OC Platinum Preferred Contractor. Limiting my search to Platinum Preferred Contractors within 50 mile radius yielded 48 OC Platinum Roofing Contractors, some of whom focused on commercial roofing and some of whom did not serve my area. I sought quotes, asked for specificity regarding the OC and non-OC roofing materials each roofer used, then researched the quality of those roofing materials used in isolation and with other roofing materials. Most roofing companies provided me with slick brochures and a one-page estimate. Roofing estimates and contracts with terse language can result in misunderstandings regarding the breadth and scope of the work. Devon at Rescue Roofing provided an estimate that clearly laid out what would be included in the job, how wood costs were calculated, how the roofing process would unfold, what the homeowner could expect from Rescue Roofing, as well as expectations of the homeowner, and the contract language was consistent with what we discussed in-person, by phone, etc. Rescue Roofing was receptive and responsive to my inquiries, flexible, and accommodating. Sarah was excellent about communicating the steps they had taken and next steps. Rescue Roofing was always prompt; my roofing materials were procured without incident; delivered on time; my new roof was installed in a day by roofers who were approachable, helpful, and communicative; they returned the next day to sweep for nails an additional time and I also received my Owens Corning Platinum Protection extended warranty within a day of the installation of my roof; and my roof was inspected and approved 2 days later. I appreciated that they used a dumpster on wheels, a practice that minimizes the likelihood that there will be damage to one’s driveway. I also appreciate that they took care to protect my hedges, plants, sidewalks, and A/C condensing unit with large blue tarps, including the entire lengths of all sides of my home. While I recognize that, in business, it is the product that you’re ultimately purchasing, I also believe that character matters, and every person I dealt with at Rescue Roofing exhibited good character, from Devon in sales, to Collin the owner, to Sarah the office manager, to Carlos, the foreman on site the entire day of installation. I’m cognizant that I do more research than most, but the good news for you is that you can benefit from the many hours I spent to identify the best roofing company in the Tampa Bay Area, Rescue Roofing.
