SureNail® Technology
Patented SureNail® Technology, only available from Owens Corning® on all Duration® Series Shingles, features a wide, highly visible engineered fabric strip in the nailing zone.
A unique triple layer of reinforcement occurs when the fabric overlays the two shingles layers in the common bond. This provides increased protection against "nail pull" from the wind.
A History of Innovation
Since 1938, Owens Corning has had a history of innovation. We invented Fiberglas® fibers which helped transform many markets such as automotive, recreational, and building materials—our famous PINK™ Insulation has been used in millions of homes across the country.
