The product is packaged and sealed to retain moisture in storage. Several packaging types are available including bulk bag (various weights to 1450 kg), bulk carton, or individual bags. Contact your Owens Corning sales representative for packaging to match your need.

Each package has a self-adhesive identification label showing the product description, net weight, and production date. Each pallet has at least two identification labels detailing the product reference, pallet net and gross weights, production date, and pallet production code.

Labeling

The label will identify the material to be Advantex® glass fiber. All material is produced with equipment designed in imperial units (inches). The table above lists the imperial and metric units with label identification.

Storage

Unless otherwise specified, it is recommended to store glass fiber products in a cool, dry area. The packaging is not waterproof. Be sure to protect the product from the weather and other sources of water. For best performance, the product should be used within 6 months from the date of manufacture. Product should be used in a FIFO basis.
