Fiber diameter is controlled during the intermediate fiber forming process. Actual diameters are measured on an audit basis as required with Owens Corning Test Method D-02C. LSL: Lower Specification Limit. USL: Upper Specification Limit.

Packaging (Standard Reference)

Packaging options are listed below. Please check with Owens Corning Account Manager for additional packaging options and details.
• 22.5 kg individual bag (952 kg total pallet weight)
• 453 kg corrugated carton
• 1,451 kg bottom dump bulk sack
• 907 kg bulk sack in corrugated carton (Export).



LABELING

Each bulk sack or carton will be identified with product identification, manufacturing date, gross/net weight in kgs. A unique unit identifier will be displayed for product traceability. Minimum of four labels are included on each unit.


STORAGE

CS1530 products are packaged and sealed to retain moisture. Product should be used in a First In - First Out basis. Small amounts of product moisture loss can occur over time. Recommended shelf life is 6 months to avoid impact on customer processing.
