The tolerances are valid at time of shipment and are guaranteed for 15 days after shipment. If any incoming inspection is made by customer, it must be performed within this 15 days period.

9703-10W10 mm, 13W13 mm, 13.7W13 mm, and 16W18 mm, wet chopped strands are packed in a bulk bag with a conical bottom opening. Bulk bags are palletized one per pallet. Net weight: 1050 or 1150 kg. The load is fixed to the pallet with stretch film.

Labeling

Each bag has a self-adhesive identification label showing the product reference and the production date.

Storage

Glass fiber products must be kept in original sealed bags away from all sources of heat to avoid moisture loss. Owens Corning will accept no responsibility for any material stored in unsealed containers. For outside storage the material must be protected against direct sun, rain, and snow exposure. It is recommended that this material be used on FIFO (first in, first out) basis by the manufacturer. Due to the moisture on the glass, the material may freeze when exposed to low temperature conditions. It is recommended that, prior to use, the material be thawed at normal room temperature for a 72-hour period.
