P243 multi-end roving represents a compelling solution for manufacturing translucent panels using multiple types of cutting equipment. It is produced with patented Advantex® corrosion resistant E-CR glass by Owens Corning, and is compatible with all usual resin systems.

    Designed for excellent processing at various line speeds, P243 roving features easy unwinding and chopping, flat lay-down, and uniform dispersion with low fuzz and static.




    With high impregnation and wet-through characteristics, the product allows excellent resin flow in translucent applications.

    Excellent fiber distribution provides a homogeneous surface aspect with limited fiber prints, resulting in consistent thickness throughout the laminate.




    Absence of white fibers and fiber spring-back along with significant reduction of air entrapment ensures excellent translucency of laminates.

  • Enhanceed Service Life

    Features Advantex® glass fiber, which combines the electrical (static-free properties) and mechanical properties of traditional E-glass with the acid corrosion resistance of E-CR glass.

  • Applications

    P243 can be used in a variety of applications including building and transportation products related to ceiling, wall, and exterior or interior liner panels.

Each P243 doff is protected by Tack-Pak™ polythene film and identified by an individual label; please do not remove film during use. Creel-Pak™ and customer specific packaging may be available upon request.

Labeling

Each doff has a self-adhesive identification label showing the product description, net weight, and production date. Each pallet has at least two identification labels detailing the product reference, pallet net and gross weights, production date, and pallet production code.

Storage

It is recommended to store glass fiber products in a cool, dry area. The glass fiber products must remain in their original packaging material until the point of usage; the product should be stored in the workshop, within its original packaging, 48 hours prior to its utilization, to allow it to reach the workshop temperature condition and prevent condensation, especially during cold season. The packaging is not waterproof. Be sure to protect the product from the weather and other sources of water. When stored properly, there is no known shelf life to the product, but retesting is advised after two years from the initial production date to insure optimum performance.
