Trumbull D-3405 joint sealer is a high-performance sealer that uses thermoplastic polymers as an asphalt modifier to reduce damage and increase pavement life. It creates a barrier to the entry of water, salt and ice at the joints and has been thoroughly tested to ensure a strong and lasting bond to both asphalt and concrete surfaces.

D-3405 joint sealer is engineered to provide a durable seal during expansion and contraction, an extra measure of bonding during cold weather -- particularly in extremely cold temperatures down to –20° F -- and resistance to flow at high temperatures. It has the ability to elongate to many times its original length, ensuring that the product continues to do its job as the pavement expands and contracts under load pressure, during freeze-thaw cycles and under other severe weather conditions. It’s also specially formulated to assure ease of flow during application and to set quickly upon cooling to avoid tracking.

D-3405 joint sealer is used in all types of crack and joint sealer applications, including sealing transverse and longitudinal joints in Portland cement concrete, as well as cracks and reflected joints in asphalt pavements, shoulder joints and saw-cut and seal applications.
